Pedal the Cause

I'm riding in Pedal the Cause because I lost a really good friend in March this year.

Channary was 28 when she lost her year long battle with brain cancer.

Like many people experiencing this type of grief, I was looking for a way to combat the grief, the sense of helplessness/uselessness, and process the loss. Signing up for a long bike ride to raise money for cancer research seemed the be the way to go.

My company here in STL set up a team to participate in Pedal the Cause to honor the memory of coworkers we've lost to cancer.

Every penny of every dollar donated funds innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital, driving new treatments, clinical trials and discoveries that are improving patient outcomes.
