On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Fiona will be running in the 3rd Annual Powel 5K & Family Fun Day to support her school, Powel Elementary! This year, all proceeds from the event will help fund the Powel Home & School Association (HSA) initiative to hire a Playworks coach for the 2025-2026 academic year. Playworks is an amazing organization that helps kids stay active and develop valuable life skills through play. Having a Playworks coach will be a wonderful asset for the Powel community!
Running a 5K is a big challenge for Fiona, so your support will not only motivate her to train over the coming months, but it will also directly impact her school. The overall fundraising goal for the event is $27,000, and we’ve set a goal of $3,100 for Fiona’s fundraising efforts.
