Hi Everyone!
l am joining Pedal the Cause 100 miles of cycling on September 20 with Team Big Shark ! I am looking to fundraise at least $1,000 for cancer research . All proceeds go directly to cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital. With your support I'd love to smash this fundraising goal, the 100 mile ride, and cancer itself.
My personal relationship with cancer is indirect, but has played a significant role in my life. My mother, Debbie Spicer, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2013 and went into remission by 2014. She was later diagnosed with bone cancer in 2020 and passed in 2022. My father, Marc Fiquet, was diagnosed with appendix cancer in 2016 and has thankfully been healthy for the past 10 years. These experiences have left me with a strong motivation to honor all those who have fought against cancer and are currently fighting cancer. Together this is an opportunity to provide better health outcomes for those moving through cancer diagnoses and to provide cutting edge research to better fight against cancer in the future.
