Pedal the Cause

Pedal the Cause represents hope, community, and the region’s most impactful movement to end cancer, and I’m excited to be participating again this year. I’m riding with Team RJD Realty, sponsored by my friend Roy Doskal, and several of us will be riding together in support of our friend Jeff Prince. Over the past year, Jeff has undergone two separate kidney surgeries to remove cancer from each of his kidneys, and he’ll be riding the event alongside his daughter. We’re taking on the Metric Century course—62 miles on the roads north of St. Charles—and it’s been motivating to train with this goal in mind.

Pedal the Cause fuels groundbreaking cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, with every penny of every dollar donated driving new treatments, clinical trials, and discoveries that improve patient outcomes. More than $51 million has already been invested in lifesaving research since 2010.
