Aubrey Pappas Memorial Scholarship Campaign

Over the past eight years The Aubrey Foundation has awarded $42,500 to North Brunswick Township High School graduating seniors through The Aubrey Pappas Memorial Scholarship. These students apply for our scholarship by writing an essay where they share a piece of them that relates to Aubrey Pappas, who taught as a middle school language arts teacher in North Brunswick before her passing. The applicants are aspiring teachers, interested in health & nutrition, serve the community through various outreach and service opportunities, or have overcome an obstacle; and they all aspire to #LiveLikeAubrey.

Through our Purple for Pappas 5K each year in October and other in-kind donations we raise between $5,000-$7,500 each year to award in scholarships. Last year, we opened up a special donation campaign to raise $1,500, the cost of an additional scholarship. Thanks to your generosity and support we were able to award $9,000 total to six deserving individuals ($1,500 each). And we want to do it again!

We have set aside $7,500 this year for our Aubrey Pappas Memorial Scholarship but we know we can raise that to $9,000 with your support! Now through the end of February, in celebration of Aubrey's passion for teaching and equipping her students with everything they need to succeed we are asking that you donate to complete at least one additional scholarship! Every donation helps reach out goal!
