Books are just the beginning...

When Mary Irick Drexel honored her mother's memory with the founding of the Sally Stretch Keen Memorial Library almost a century ago, she created not just a place for books, but a place where the people of Southampton could come together and feel a sense of community.  She would be proud of her little library today because we are doing just that.

But it doesn't happen without you.

The library has proudly served Southampton for the past 100 years, through good times and bad.  Please help us continue making a difference in our community.  Libraries are more than books---books are just the beginning.

With much gratitude,

Your friends at the library
