We are proud to again join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer. All of us have been impacted through a personal, family, friend or co-worker’s experience with cancer. Cancer is a disease that knows no boundaries. The understanding of how cancer beats our immune system and progresses literally changes daily with the leading edge research that's taking place. In St. Louis, we are incredibly lucky to have leaders in this research right in our community.
This research requires great effort by great minds at great expense. The Pedal the Cause event has made a huge impact over the past 16 years by being a leading fundraising event to further the research to bring an end to cancer. Hitachi Energy (and its predecessors) have supported this team, significantly increasing the impact of the donations of our team members, their families, our co-workers and friends. We know that it takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. And by participating in Pedal the Cause, we know that 100% of our donations will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
