Betty Jean Rogers, age 67, passed away July 23, 2025, in Branson, Missouri. She entered this life on June 15, 1958, the daughter of Dean and Theresa (McCormick) Perry in Lafayette, Indiana. Betty was joined in marriage to Dennis Dale Rogers on February 18, 1999. Betty recently retired from Cigna HealthCare after 21 years.
With a radiant soul, Betty loved planning and decorating to make gatherings and holidays exceptionally special for her loved ones. She enjoyed planting flowers, traveling, going on cruises and spending time with her Family (especially her daughter and Grandsons). Betty was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Branson and previously Good News Community Church in Festus where she taught Sunday school. She greatly treasured her time working at the Presleys’ Country Jubilee, being able to meet and talk to many different people. The memories and moments created throughout her life will be cherished by all who knew her.
Betty is survived by her husband, Dennis Rogers of Branson, Missouri; daughter, Jennifer Garnatz of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren: Kaleb Morgan, currently stationed with the US Navy in Iwakuni, Japan, and Tyler Morgan of St. Louis, Missouri; mother, Theresa Perry of Crystal City, Missouri; sisters: Peggy (Bob) Gift of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Kathy (Tony) Bova of Crystal City, Missouri, and Nancy (Ron) Spoth of Festus, Missouri; sister-in-law, Shirley (Vincent) Wilson of Republic, Missouri; sister-in-law, Janet (Tony) Emily of Springfield, Missouri; brother-in-law, Carl (Dorothy) Rogers of Lebanon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kathy Rogers of Springfield, Missouri; brother-in-law, Kerry (Diane) Rogers of Festus, Missouri; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Rob) Frazier of Festus, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Dean Perry; son, Douglas Eugene Winkler; brother-in-law, Richard Rogers; and parents-in-law, Carl and Leova Rogers.
A memorial gathering will be held at Good News Community Church in Festus on Sunday, July 27. Visitation 3:00 - 4:00 pm and service at 4:00 pm.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 3 at Presleys’ Country Jubilee in Branson, Missouri. Visitation 2:00 - 3:00 pm and service at 3:00 pm.
