Faxon Law New Haven Road Race

My name is Kaitlyn, and this year, I’m running my first half marathon with Project Purple in honor of my dad — my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, and the strongest person I’ve ever known. He passed away in August after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.
I’m running for him — for his fight, his resilience, and his endless love. I’m running to raise awareness about this devastating disease and to support others going through what our family went through.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, often detected too late. Project Purple funds critical research and provides support to patients and families affected by this disease. Every dollar raised brings us closer to earlier detection, better treatment, and one day…. a cure.
This run is more than a physical challenge. It’s a promise to keep his memory alive and to turn pain into purpose. Thank you for supporting me, and for honoring my dad’s legacy.
