I’m participating in Mutt March to raise funds for the Jacksonville Humane Society, and I’m doing it in memory of Rupert—my heart dog. Losing him left a hole in my heart, but walking in his honor gives me a way to turn that love into something meaningful.
There are so many pets out there still waiting for a life filled with love, just like Rupert had. Some are tiny kittens or puppies who have just been adopted, while others are still in the shelter, hoping for their turn. Some need medical care, some need time to heal, but all of them deserve comfort, safety, and a family of their own.
That’s why I’m raising funds—to help give them a chance to be as loved as Rupert was.
