Welcome to My Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk. San Diego Fundraising Page!
Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk San Diego is a 15-mile Bike Ride or 5K Run/Walk that is very important to me. I am raising money to help The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County so they can provide wraparound support services and programs at no cost to individuals and families affected by epilepsy. Please help me support this cause and spread awareness for epilepsy.

Epilepsy is more than seizures. Every story matters in this fight. Here is my personal story of WHY this matters...
I have had Epilepsy for most of my life. At times it has been a drag, but ultimately it is more akin to a "badge of honor" in that I have learned to advocate for myself out of necessity. I have tried and moved beyond most of the medical options out there, and as such have developed deep empathy for all who struggle with this disorder, some much more severely than I. I strongly believe in the value of community when any one person faces difficulty, and I have found enormous comfort and belonging with the folks here at the San Diego Epilepsy Foundation. They provide valuable resources and assistance throughout the area, and at times like this when government funding cannot be counted on, community support is so important. Please consider supporting this important group.
