Pedaling for a Cure

2025 Marks Tracy's 10 Year Anniversary of being CANCER FREE!!  To commemorate this monumental achievement, I've once again joined the fight against cancer and will be participating in my 8th Pedal the Cause on Sunday, September 21st, 2025.  I'm once again riding with Team Big Black Dog for this year's ride and will be riding "The River Bluff" 100 Mile Course in support of those who have been affected by this horrible disease!

I'm fundraising in support of my friend Howard Weber who is currently battling this horrible disease, in celebration of my wife Tracy, and in remembrance of my parents Gail & Sam Vandover, Betty Reignier, Anne Hoagland, Kathleen Kovacs, Patricia (Pat) Dugan, and David Shepard.  Also, I fundraise to support family & friends who've battled cancer:  aunt Jan Chartrand, Kierstin Anderson, Doug Mars, Carl Cowles, Bridget DuMont, Gabe Plant, and the millions of other families who have been affected by cancer.

Please consider supporting me again in this journey by donating to my ride.  100% of what I raise - literally every penny - will fund innovative lifesaving pediatric and adult cancer research in St. Louis at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.  

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer.  Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser.  It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Check Donations- Please make the check payable to Pedal the Cause and mail the check to CIBC c/o Pedal the Cause 8410 Solutions Center Chicago, IL 60677-8004 with the fundraiser name in the memo line.

Stock donations and Donor-Advised Fund- When processing a DAF grant through a charitable giving account, search for the Pedal the Cause by tax ID (27-2233336). In the “notes” section, indicate the Pedal the Cause fundraiser you want to support.

*Once the check is received Pedal the Cause will post the check to your profile. Please note it typically takes 10-14 days to post.
