Pedal the Cause

I am proud to be riding Pedal the Cause in honor of my dad, David Johnson, who bravely battled Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) over the last 8 months. 

I am dedicated to this cause because I’ve experienced first hand how cancer affects patients and their families. 100% of every dollar we raise will help advance prevention, detection, treatment, and cures for AML. And as a stem cell donor for my dad, I hope to also spread awareness about the National Marrow Donor Program and its lifesaving potential. 

We lost my dad to infectious complications following his transplant, but I will never stop being proud of his fight and victory. The greatest way to honor his legacy is to continue paying it forward in order to help the next newly diagnosed patient.
