Team Love for LaVon rides in honor of our mom, who was diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma—a rare form of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma—in December 2025.
We ride with gratitude for the extraordinary care and compassion our entire family has received from the team at Siteman — especially mom’s oncologist Dr. Neha Mehta-Shah, Nurse Jacquelyn, and the entire amazing 10800 team.
Mom has made remarkable progress in her cancer journey, and we are incredibly thankful for her positive response to the clinical trial treatment she is receiving at Siteman.
While our team was created in Mom’s honor, we also ride alongside and celebrate our friend, Living Proof teammate, Melissa Haas. Melissa, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2024, completed surgery and chemotherapy in 2025 and continues her follow-up care at Siteman. We are grateful to have her riding with us, alongside her husband, Jerrod.
