Pedal the Cause

I’ve experienced firsthand the importance of cancer research. One treatment that became available to me was just FDA approved in fall 2025, highlighting how research can quickly translate into new options for patients. I’m also incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I’ve received from my medical team at a leading research hospital, where I’ve seen how innovation and patient care go hand in hand. Every dollar invested in research helps bring new treatments and hope to families like mine. 💙🩷💙

Thus, I felt called to get involved in a way that was meaningful to our family. Our babies have been on bikes as soon as they could walk, so creating a team felt like the perfect way to raise awareness, support an important cause, and make a greater impact together.

That’s how Team Pink was born—a fitting name since pink also happens to be the favorite color of two-thirds of our babies. 💕 

As we researched organizations to support, we were especially inspired by Pedal the Cause’s remarkable impact. For every $1 donated to cancer research, an additional $14 is secured on average through outside funding. That extraordinary 14:1 return on investment has helped generate more than half a billion dollars in leveraged research funding. It’s a powerful reminder that every dollar truly does make a difference.
