Pedal the Cause

#GUZSTRONG

This Sunday, I’m taking on the 100-mile Century in my first Pedal the Cause with United by Design. After focusing my charitable riding on Bike MS in prior years, I’m proud to put the miles behind another cause that has touched nearly every family: cancer.

This ride is especially personal. I’ll be riding in memory of my friend and United by Design teammate Troy Guzman, who lost his year-long battle with glioblastoma in 2024. Our team continues to carry Troy with us through #GUZSTRONG - a rallying cry now displayed on our kits and team collateral. Riding 100 miles to support cancer research feels like a fitting way to honor him.

Pedal the Cause supports research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, helping advance new treatments, clinical trials and discoveries that improve patient outcomes.

My Century carries a $500 fundraising commitment, but reaching that goal is only the starting point. If you have the desire and means to donate, I’d be grateful for your support.
