Pedal the Cause

Like so many families, cancer has left its mark on mine. My grandma is a 40+ year breast cancer survivor and is one of the strongest, most resilient people I know. She was fortunate, but so many others in our family have lost their battle. Uncle Delb, Uncle Loren, and Uncle Lonnie were all gone far too soon. When my father passed of cancer in 2010, I appreciated the time my Uncle Billy Joe spent with me, but he too would lose his fight just seven years later. I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
