Why I Ride

Fifteen years ago, Rick and I rode 50 miles on a tandem for Pedal the Cause. By the following year, Rick was with me in spirit, taken from this earth in 2012 by pancreatic cancer. My mother also lost her fight against pancreatic cancer four years ago. I now ride to honor their memory, committing to help provide needed funds to propel research that will lead to better treatments and cures for cancer. I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Please support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
