Why I Ride

I am proud to support Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. I fight to support my family, friends and teammates who have been impacted by this terrible disease.

Please help support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser. 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.  Research that results in new treatments and cures for everyone with an ROI of 14:1. For every Pedal $1 donated, Siteman receives another $14 from national sources.

Everyone should know:

  • 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will get cancer in our lifetime.
  • National Cancer Institute funding has dropped from nearly $500 million in 2004 to $350-ish million.
  • It takes charitable $$$ for preliminary research in order to apply for a NCI grant.
