Pedal the Cause

This year, I’m riding in Pedal the Cause for the very first time as part of Team Central Bank, and I could not be more excited (and admittingly a little nervous!) to be part of something so meaningful.

I am riding for my dear friend Gary who got to ring the bell this year.

Gary is living proof that the work being done at Siteman Cancer Center truly changes lives. Because of places like Siteman, people are given more time, more memories, and more moments with the ones they love. That is what this ride means to me.

Pedal the Cause is so much more than a bike ride. It is hope, it is community, and it is people coming together to fight for something bigger than themselves. It is a reminder that progress is happening every day.

As a first time rider, I feel incredibly honored to be part of this event and to support research that is shaping the future of cancer treatment. Every mile I ride is for Gary and for everyone who has been impacted by cancer.
