Paws-a-thon

Paws-a-thon – This is a "walk and wag” event for you and your dog to enjoy while raising mental health awareness. One hundred percent of funds raised in this event will benefit our Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH)Program

The Need: 

OBHAW receives a grant every year for this program. However, just a few months into this program, we have exhausted the funds due to the incredible needs in our communities. The proceeds from this event will go to our PATH Program so that we may continue to help the homeless year-round.

Every person that signs up with paid admission will receive a free T-shirt, access to ALL activities (limit one pet contest entry per person) at the event as well as a swag gift bag at check-in! Food tickets can also be bought when you sign up so you can skip the line!

Activities will include:

• A dog walk

• A dog contest (one entry per person is included in the online registration) Trophies are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. 

• Jumphouse

• Facepainting

• Live music

• And more!

You MUST check in at the check-in table upon arrival. 

Paws and Claws will also be hosting a adoption event and will be passing out reduced cost spay and neuter vouchers.

Rain Date: In the event of bad weather, the rain date for the event will be October 15, 2022

Rules of the Road:

Please do not participate if your dog is aggressive, non-leash trained or in heat.

Please agree to keep your dog on a leash at ALL times.

Yellow ribbons will be available at check-in to attach to your leash for those that are requesting others obtain permission before petting their dog.
