Pedal the Cause

Pedal the Cause is so special to my family and me - this will be my sixth year riding! This fall I’ll be taking on my longest ride of 52 miles in The Big Hitter.

I'm eternally grateful for my incredible team of doctors, as well as the research and legislation that led to my early breast cancer diagnosis in 2024 and early melanoma diagnoses in 2017 and 2018. My experience with Pedal the Cause has provided a space for me to gain great strength, grieve in healthy ways, and make a difference in the fight against cancer - this organization is truly a gift. If you'd like to hear more, check out STLMade's feature, Pedal Power, where I share my story alongside others whose lives have been touched by their involvement with Pedal the Cause.

I’ll be riding again in honor of my doctors and the many loved ones who have battled - and are currently battling - cancer. I love that every dollar raised through this event directly funds lifesaving cancer research. In fact, 100% of donations to Pedal the Cause support research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Pedal the Cause has become so much more than a ride for me. This event is a reminder that none of us are alone - and that together, we can make a real difference. Our team, WG Warriors, had an amazing time together last year and would LOVE for you to join us for Pedal the Cause 2026💖
