Serving 1,500 youth annually, the Students Run Philly Style mentoring models pairs youth ages 12-18 with volunteer mentors. Together, youth and volunteers train alongside each other as they prepare for a full or half marathon. Since 2004 Students Run Philly Style has created a movement of healthy young people in Philadelphia--a movement that has touched multiple generations of families and impacted the lives of its participants.
Hi!
I’m a mediocre runner with a big dream—running the Broad Street Run this year. Until now, I’ve only completed 5Ks, so I'm putting a lot of effort to train for the 10 miles!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get selected in the lottery for a race bib, but I have an incredible opportunity to earn my spot while supporting an amazing cause. Through Students Run Philly Style, I can receive a bib by fundraising to help young runners in Philly.
Your donation will directly support youth in this program by providing sneakers, race-day shirts, and registration fees—giving them the chance to participate in half and full marathons. To make this happen, I need to raise $500 by April 10th. Every single donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to the start line and helps these kids chase their own running goals!
Even more special—my dad is also fundraising for the same cause so that we can complete this race together! If you’d like to support him as well, his fundraising page is here.
Thank you so much for any support you can give! 🏃♀️💙
