The Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado is the leader in connecting, educating and empowering to improve the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. We connect people to healthcare providers, support networks, and each other. We educate schools, employers, and the community at large, to reduce stigma and raise awareness. We empower people affected by epilepsy with knowledge, resources, and advocacy to live their best lives. We will not rest until we achieve a world free from seizures- and your generous gift will help us achieve this vision.
Making a one- time or monthly gift is an easy way for you to make a difference.
Our Giving Circles
Purple Circle- Did you know that 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy in his or her lifetime? When you make a commitment to give a monthly donation of $26 or more, you make a sustained impact on the work of the Foundation, and are welcomed into the Purple Circle.
Founder’s Society- The Founder’s Society is based on the firm belief that the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado’s past, present and future is dependent on the ongoing generosity of our friends. We recognize and encourage partnership through this unique society that acknowledges those individuals, corporate and foundations whose lifetime gifts total $50,000 or more to the organization.
Harriet Hunter Circle- When her grandchild was diagnosed with epilepsy in 1964, Dr. Harriet Hunter incorporated the Colorado Epilepsy Association because there were no support services available for youth with epilepsy. Since our founding, we have depended on donors who provide leadership support through their generous giving, and we now recognize those donors who give $50,000 or more by including them in the Harriet Hunter Circle, named in honor of our founder.
Legacy Circle- Through the years, the epilepsy community has benefited greatly from individuals who have remembered the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado in their estate plans. The Legacy Circle acknowledges those who have made gifts through bequests, gift annuities, trust agreements, life insurance and similar planned gifts. Recognition of Legacy Circle members is made regardless of the size of the bequest or gift. For information on leaving your legacy, please contact Corrina Madrid, Vice President of Engagement at 303-377-9774 or email@example.com
