Honors and Awards
MooreUnity Recognized by Moorestown Council
We were honored to receive a Mayoral Proclamation in 2019 by Moorestown's Mayor and Town Council members. We were recognized for actively promoting peace and non-violence, working with other groups to provide resources on violence prevention and fostering dialogue across political and ideological divides. We're grateful for the recognition, and appreciative of all the members of our group who are building MooreUnity in our community.
MooreUnity Founders Honored at Super Hero Saturday
The founders of MooreUnity were recognized as local superheroes for contributions to their community during Super Hero Saturday in June 2019. Hosted by the Franklin Institute, Cherry Hill Mall and Sun Newspapers. MooreUnity founders Meredith Butts and Karen Reiner were honored to receive this recognition and thank the many members of MooreUnity for their contributions to bridging divides in our community and making our town a welcoming place for all residents.
