Sports Park
St. Joseph Youth Sports is currently working to bring a state-of-the-art sports complex to St. Joseph Charter Township. The complex would be located on nearly 40 acres on the corner of Maiden Lane and Hollywood Roads. Features would include:
- 2 Baseball Fields
- 2 Softball Fields*
- Rocket Football Game Field
- Rocket Football Practice Field
- 3 Flag Football Fields
- Locker Rooms
- Medical Room
- Indoor Batting Cages
- Concession Stands
- Handicap-accessible Playground and Splash Pad
- 1.5 mile Walking and Fitness Trail
- Sufficient Parking
*1 of the softball fields will also serve as a Miracle League field

Project Status
April, 2023
We are beginning our Capital Campaign to raise money for Phase 1 of construction! Phase 1 of construction will include:
- Land excavation and preparation
- Flag and Rocket Football Fields
- Indoor batting cages and main headquarters (locker rooms, restrooms, training, and main concession stand)
- Walking path
- Park entrance/exit & parking

November 1, 2022
Site plans were presented to the St. Joseph Township Planning Commission and were approved! Site plans are currently being reviewed to finalize constructions costs.
October 5, 2022
St. Joseph Youth Sports Foundation was accepted as a member to the Miracle League network, and the Miracle League of St. Joseph was established. Site plans approximately 90% complete.
September 2022
SJYSF has contracted with Abonmarche for site development plans, estimated for release in November 2022.
August 2, 2022
The St. Joseph Charter Township Board of Trustees approved a Special Use Permit for the property that allows for the construction of a recreation facility. Site plan development is currently in progress. Fundraising has officially begun!
