Intercepted pass in Florida’s endzone against Tennessee (Sept. 21)... Forced first career fumble in the season opener against Miami (Aug. 24)... Tied his career-high against Towson (Sept. 28) with a season-best six tackles... helped Florida finish seventh nationally in scoring defense (15.5 points)and tied for fourth-fewest touchdowns allowed (23)... 2018 (Freshman):

Began the season as a key member of Florida's special team's units and a reserve defensive back...After Marco Wilson sustained a season-ending injury against Kentucky (Sept. 8), Dean moved into a prominent role and started nine of the final 10 games... Tallied 26 tackles, 0.5 tackles-for-loss, one interception, and six passes defended... Ranked second on the team in pass breakups with six... Notched his first-career interception at Florida State (Nov. 24) and returned it44 yards...Totaled a season-high four tackles against Michigan (Dec. 29) in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl... Named to the Coaches FreshmanAll-SEC Team... PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

Selected to participate in the 2017 Under Armour All-American game... Had two pass breakups and one tackle in the game... In19 games on varsity, he recorded 45 tackles, three interceptions, and 10 pass breakups... He also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble during his career...
