Information

Our service dogs and Trauma Resiliency Program are provided to veterans at no cost – but require an enormous amount of resources: time, effort and money. Expenses include purchasing the purpose-bred pups, up to 18 months worth of food, vaccinations, medical care, housing, transportation, professional training and special equipment including vests, leads, identification patches and cards. Veterans are then brought to our campus and housed for three weeks. Transportation and most meals are provided at no expense to the veteran.

Partnerships with donors, sponsors, and the helping hands of volunteers makes these life-changing service dogs possible for our veterans.

There is no government funding for PTSD service dogs – and the cost to breed, raise, train and partner our service dog averages $29,000.
