Mission
As we reflect on the years that have passed since our time at Cape Fear High, we are reminded of the friendships, lessons, and opportunities that shaped our lives. Now, we have an opportunity to give back and create a lasting impact on the next generation of Cape Fear students. This Alumni Association is open to all graduating classes of Cape Fear High School.

Our Purpose
The Colt Pride Alumni Association was established to support the Colt Pride Scholarship Fund which will go to deserving students as they pursue higher education whether that be a college, university, or trade school. Many talented and hardworking students face financial obstacles that make college seem out of reach. With your generosity, we can help make their dreams a reality.

Our Goal 

Our Goal is to grow this scholarship into an annual event to be presented during the end of year awards ceremony. The 2026 Scholarship recipient will recieve $1,500!

We will:

• provide scholarships to senior students graduating from Cape Fear High School to pursue high education.
• promote and encourage the long tradition of Colt Pride through maintaining a good academic record; participating in school extracurricular activities; setting a good example for fellow schoolmates.
• engage in fundraising activities to support the scholarship fund.

Donation Levels

We have established tiered levels of giving to suit any budget that allows each of us to help someone reach their dreams, one student at a time. 

Your tax-deductible donation will go directly toward scholarships for students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, financial need, and COLT PRIDE!  Flexible payment options are available: check, mobile banking apps will making giving easy and trackable.

We invite you to contribute at a level that is meaningful to you, with flexible giving options (see below). You can make a one time donation of any amount, or signup to make regularly monthly donations.

 

Tiered Levels of Giving:

📘 Colt Supporter – $10/month or $120/year
📗 Blue & Gold Sponsor – $25/month or $300/year
📙 Legacy Partner – $50/month or $600/year
📕 Scholarship Champion – $100/month or $1,200/year

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Whether you choose to give monthly or make a one-time contribution, your generosity will help build a stronger future for Cape Fear High students.

DEADLINE to submit your application is April 20, 2026. The Scholarship Recipient will be announced at the Cape Fear High Awards Ceremony on May 1, 2026.
