Our story started when my brother needed a kidney transplant 10 years ago. He was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune kidney disease that left his kidneys non-functioning. He started out as a dialysis patient for a few years until a donor enlisted to give him a kidney for a transplant. Four years ago, Eric received a strong functioning kidney from his sister Kayen, hoping to God that the kidney will last him for life!
