This is what it's all about, eh!

2112: Hammer Time - The name of this team comes from two of its most important members. Both rode in and donated to Pedal The Cause. Both lost their lives due to cancer. One of Nick Porter's favorite albums was 2112 by the Canadian rock trio, RUSH. One of John Christian, Sr's nicknames was The Hammer. The fact that it was bestowed upon him by himself doesn't matter.

This team is about remembering and living and loving and winning. We remember those who we have lost. We live and love those in the past and the present. We win by waking up and getting up every day and making a difference in our lives and in the world as a whole.

We are proud to be joining Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. We know that it takes world-class research to create a world without cancer. And by participating in Pedal the Cause, we know that 100% of our donations will go directly to accelerating cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.
