This is where community building meets action!
Navigating autism resources can feel overwhelming – the ASCV 5K Resource Fair is designed to make it easier. It welcomes dozens of vendors: autism service providers, event sponsors, and community partners from local organizations. Check out our partners below!
Connect, explore programs, and discover new supports tailored to our local autism community – all in one place. Whether you’re newly navigating a diagnosis or looking to expand your network, the fair offers direct access to resources that can make a meaningful difference.

Safety starts with connection.
New this year, our Safety Fair will offer a chance to meet local first responders before an emergency happens. Families and self-advocates can engage directly with police, fire, and EMS in a supportive environment – learning how to communicate needs, explore available safety resources, and build comfort through real interaction.
The goal is simple: build familiarity, reduce uncertainty, and support safer, more confident communication when it matters most.

Creating a Safer Autism Community
In February 2025, the Autism Society of Central Virginia and the Richmond Police Department hosted our second free Sensory Friendly First Responder Safety Seminar! Children and teens with autism had the opportunity to collaborate with first responders and engage in real-world scenarios.
