Hillside Grail

Hillside Grail - Grail Cup 4
Hilltop Trailhead parking
Wednesday, July 9th @ 7pm
11.3 mile lap + 3.5 mile start loop
The Grand Finale! Traversing the breadth of Far North Bicentennial and the Hillside ski trails, grailleurs will be put to the ultimate test of midweek endurance. Annhiliate hump day by smashing across a series of bumpy lumps. From Hilltop to Besh to Hillside Lighted and back, Gasline to the Tank Trail, grip tightly as you plunge down to the utility easement and cross run over the new bridge spanning the torrent of Campbell Creek (yes, it has a couple of stairs!), furrow the fresh gravel of the Chugach Foothills Connector before hitting the pavement of Campbell Airstrip Rd to the South Bivouac crossing point. From here you will rejoin Gasline, bearing south to Besh and another ski trail circuit before finishing atop the hill just before Hilltop parking. Two-lappers will head out to do it all over again. A fitting end to your seasonal grail quest. Carpe calicum.
1 or 2 laps + start loop depending on division. Division breakdown will be identical to Kincaid Grail, with A men & women, B men and women, and Master-45 men completing 2 laps + start loop. Every else will complete 1 lap + start loop.
