Donations in Honor of Bosco Fowler

This year, donations made through this page in honor of Bosco Fowler will support the creation of a new Stafford Education Fund, a donor-advised fund established through the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut.

This permanent fund will directly benefit students and educators in the Stafford Public Schools, helping to:

• Cover field trip and athletic fees for families in need
• Provide small grants to teachers for projects outside the regular school budget
• Support other education-related needs that enrich learning opportunities in our schools

Anyone—racer or non-racer—can help by creating an individual or team fundraiser. All proceeds will help build a long-term resource that honors Bosco’s legacy of service and community spirit.

The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is a nonprofit, tax-exempt public charity devoted to improving the quality of life across 42 communities in Eastern Connecticut, including Stafford. Founded in 1983, the Foundation serves as a trusted hub for meaningful philanthropy, managing over 600 donor-established funds totaling more than $120 million in assets. Each year, these funds distribute over $8 million in grants and scholarships, fueling positive change throughout the region.

Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded over $100 million to nonprofits and students—proof of what’s possible when people come together to care for their communities.
