How Will the Funds from the 5K Be Used?
The Color Outside the Lines 5K is more than just a race—it’s a movement to support children with autism in our community.
Support for Local Schools:
A portion of the funds raised will be donated directly to the local school system to support inclusive education, sensory-friendly classrooms, or resources that benefit neurodivergent students.
Help for a Homeschooling Family:
We also hope to bless a local family who is homeschooling a child with autism. These funds could help them access curriculum, therapy tools, or adaptive materials that make learning more accessible at home.
Sensory Supplies for Otis and Others:
Some of the proceeds will help purchase sensory tools like a crash pad, bubble tube, or indoor trampoline for Otis, which support his daily development. If funding allows, we’d love to expand and provide sensory resources for other local families as well.
Every dollar helps create a more supportive, inclusive community—and we are so grateful for your help in making it happen!
