Help us raise additional funds for the Exploreum!
Interactive learning experiences—like those offered by the Exploreum—are more than just fun. They are essential to developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. As the American Academy of Pediatrics states, “Play is not frivolous: it enhances brain structure and function and promotes executive function... the process of learning, rather than the content.” These skills are vital as we prepare learners for a rapidly changing world. In fact, it’s estimated that up to 85% of the jobs that will exist in the next 10 to 15 years haven't been invented yet. Innovation, adaptability, and logical reasoning will be central to success in these emerging roles.
At the Exploreum, we believe the foundation for these skills begins with hands-on, curiosity-driven learning. Our exhibits and programs are designed to integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in dynamic, thought-provoking ways.
We envision a vibrant, inclusive space where learners of all ages can explore, experiment, and discover. The redesigned Science Center will be a hub for engaging, hands-on STEAM learning that fosters not only academic growth, but also creativity, innovation, and confidence. The remodeled facility will provide:
Immersive Learning – Interactive exhibits, experiments, and demonstrations that make STEAM concepts accessible, exciting, and memorable.
Experiential Education – A safe, stimulating environment that promotes practical, real-world problem-solving through exploration and play.
Collaborative Opportunities – Spaces designed for partnerships with schools, businesses, and organizations to support educational programming, community outreach, and workforce development.
Inclusive Access – A welcoming space for individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to experience and engage with STEAM learning.
