Virtual DeSoto County Annual MLK Jr. 5K Unity Run/Walk

The DeSoto County Annual MLK 5K Run/Walk accepts donation year round to fund the Precious Pearls Foundation. 

Precious Pearls Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established for the empowerment of individuals and families; to cultivate leaders, to inspire “HOPE”, and to contribute to the overall well-being of our communities through service, advocacy, and education. Our personalized scholar development model combines mentoring and coaching, tutoring, professional development and career planning, personal supports, and financial assistance to help students, mothers-to-be, and families to excel.

Precious Pearls was founded in 2015 by a group of social contributors who understood the specific challenges facing a uniquely overlooked population. Recognizing the fact that most were facing uphill challenges and determined to change the odds, we developed customized and highly successful programs based on providing the kind of support that would make a meaningful difference. Precious Pearls Foundation believes that when given a solid system of support, everyone has the ability to reach his or her full personal and professional potential.

Options Available:

• Fundraiser Teams- create a team or join an existing team to help us reach our goal-The team with the most participation will receive a plaque.

• Direct Donations-Follow the link to donate to the foundation.

• Charity Designation-Add your chosen charity and you will profit 40% of the funds raised.
