Chosen 300 Walk Against Homelessness

On any given day, approximately 7,500 people are experiencing homelessness and hunger in the City of Philadelphia. While local shelters provide housing, many are not able to also provide physical nourishment. That is where Chosen 300 comes in. For over 28 years, Chosen 300 has stood in the gap by serving over 150,000 meals to persons experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the City of Philadelphia each year. Over 115 churches and organizations in the Philadelphia region supports Chosen 300 with this effort. Chosen 300 relies on private gifts from individuals, private companies, churches and organizations to maintain its mission work in Philadelphia and around the world.

Funds raised from the 5 Mile Walk Against Homelessness will go directly to support the many programs offered by Chosen 300 Ministries, Inc.
