Fox Trot 5k @ Sly Fox Brewery

Schuylkill River Greenways National Heritage Area (SRG) is a non-profit organization with the mission of connecting people and communities to the Schuylkill River and the Schuylkill River Trail.  A priority focus of SRG’s work is to build, maintain and promote the SRT in Berks and Schuylkill Counties, where we own over 32 miles of trail and are currently working to build 30+ miles more. This summer we will complete the construction of the Whittaker Bridge over Rt. 724 in Monocacy and the Auburn Bridge connecting Hamburg and Auburn.  Cyclists, runners, and walkers alike connect with our river while enjoying the trail, and this engagement generates support for the protection of the river and investment in our river towns.  

The SRT and the river have both seen an exponential increase in use in the past year, and SRG has been there to make sure these important assets are available and accessible to keep our communities sane and healthy.  Join us in our mission and connect with the river and trail!
