Runnersville REMIX: Walk & Run Ladies Training Camp
Whether you’re looking for motivation to get moving or you’re an experienced walker or runner hoping to improve your pace, Runnersville REMIX offers a welcoming and supportive training environment for girls and women of all fitness levels.
The training camp is a 10-week program that encourages participants to complete three training sessions per week. Each session typically lasts 45–60 minutes and includes a warm-up, training time (which may include intervals depending on the group), a cool-down, and stretching.
Training Groups & Pacing
Runnersville offers multiple training groups to support a wide range of goals and experience levels. Groups are designed to help participants train alongside others with similar pacing and interests, while still allowing flexibility to move between groups if needs or goals change.
Youth Groups (Grades K–9):
Age-appropriate training that focuses on confidence, movement skills, and positive experiences with walking, run–walking, and running.
(Youth programs are not drop-off programs; a parent or guardian must remain on site.)
Adult Walking Groups:
Options range from conversational-paced walking to faster-paced walking for those seeking a greater challenge. Participants may walk at a steady pace or use intervals.
Adult Running & Run–Walk Groups:
Designed for beginners, returning runners, and experienced runners alike. Training plans include a variety of run–walk and continuous running options, with guidance to help participants progress gradually and reduce the risk of injury. Participants are grouped by pace to promote comfort, safety, and connection.
Stroller Strutters:
A training option for caregivers who wish to participate while bringing a child in a stroller. Walkers, run–walkers, and runners of all paces are welcome. Training routes are stroller-friendly.
In-Person & Virtual Participation
Participants may choose to train in person or virtually and may switch participation options at any time. In-person training is offered twice weekly, with the expectation that participants complete an additional homework workout each week. Virtual participants complete sessions on their own schedule and are supported through dedicated coaches and private online groups.
All participants receive regular emails with weekly training plans, updates, and motivational or educational content from Runnersville coaches and guest speakers.
Staying Connected
Communication throughout the season is primarily electronic. Participants are encouraged to regularly check email, follow the Runnersville public Facebook page, and join their assigned private group for updates, encouragement, and community connection.
Support roles are always welcome. Cheering, encouraging, and helping create a positive atmosphere are valued parts of the Runnersville experience.
