MWR Liberty Volunteer Trip To: Comic Con

Take part in the opportunity to volunteer at the 2025 International Comic Con Convention in sunny San Diego! Volunteers will volunteer for a 3- hour shift and, when their shift is over, be able to enjoy the convention for free! Assignments and Volunteer Times are still to be determined at a later date closer to the event. Cosplay is encouraged! 😎

This year we are limiting all patrons to one-day of volunteering (we want as many people as possible to experience Comic Con). Pick your preferred day to volunteer (Thursday, July 24th, Friday, July 25th, Saturday, July 26th, OR Sunday, July 27th). Registration will fill up quickly. If we reach volunteer capacity, please email us to be added to the waitlist.

Comic Con Member ID

During registration you will be asked to enter your Comic Con Member ID. If you don't already have one, please create a Comic Con Member ID, at www.comic-con.org. Please note that your Comic Con Member ID is case-sensitive (spacing and lowercase versus uppercase, matters). Please be sure to input your exact Comic Con member ID as it appears on your Comic Con Portal. If we have issues looking up your Comic Con Member ID, you will be contacted. 

Transportation

MWR Transportation is provided with two available pick-up locations: The Recyard (NBSD) and VADM Martin Liberty (NASNI). 

Communication

MWR Liberty communication with volunteers will mainly occur via email (so please provide the best email address at registration). In mid-June (around 6/19), all signups will be contacted by email and be asked to confirm attendance. Keep an eye out for this email. There will be a deadline to respond and if we don't hear back, we will offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
