Bridge Walk for Babies

On April 1st, Martin County’s only labor and delivery unit closed its doors, leaving local women without a hospital to safely deliver their babies.
At Martin County Healthy Start, we are solution-driven, so we’re taking action. We're laying the foundation for a community-based birthing center that puts care back where it belongs: close to home.

Join us on July 12th for our very first Bridge Walk for Babies, a powerful event to raise awareness about the urgent changes in maternity care and show how you can help shape the future.

From launching the MOM Mobile, which brings prenatal care directly into underserved neighborhoods, to planning the birth center itself, it all begins and ends with one thing: community.
