Description
This year, we celebrate the 35th Annual Tallahassee AIDS Walk, working alongside partner organizations Neighborhood Medical Center and Bond Community Health Center. The Tallahassee AIDS Walk continues to grow, drawing hundreds of participants each year. AIDS Walk 2025 will be held on Thursday, September 18th at the Southwood Nature Trail and begins at 6:30pm.
This event is a celebration of all of those who have fought so hard to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. All proceeds will go towards helping all three agencies provide direct-care services for our clients, and HIV prevention & education for the entire Big Bend region. After a memorial walk around the Southwood Nature Trail (starting at the intersection of Ivy Green Trail and Grove Park Dr.), we will gather to listen to speakers and music.
Participants can pre-order shirts through Tuesday, September 2nd. After this date, shirts will no longer be available on this site, but extra shirts will be for sale the day of the event. We also encourage student organizations, companies, families, clubs, and faith groups to make a team and register together! Walkers can become fundraisers themselves, employ creative ways to engage their networks, and help us reach our goal of $40,000 for Big Bend Cares' 40th Anniversary.
We walk for the more than 100,000 people living with HIV in Florida. We walk to remember those who no longer can. We walk to remind you that you’re not alone. We walk for a nation. We walk to educate. We walk for change.
