Description

Hey everyone! Please join F3 BOISE in Idaho for our 2nd Annual week-long virtual activity challenge! We're aiming to log a whopping 5,000 miles together as a group. It's all for a great cause—raising awareness about the serious issue of human trafficking right here in Boise.

Throughout the week of October 5-11, all participants will track their own miles wherever you want to log them. Whether you're walking, running, cycling, or doing your favorite activity, every mile counts towards our goal!

Not only are we spreading awareness, but we're also fundraising for The Ada County Victim Services Center , a nonprofit in Boise that supports survivors of human trafficking from our community. The money raised will directly help in their recovery and restoration. Let's make a difference together!

ABOUT ACVSC - https://adacounty.id.gov/victimservices/

The Ada County Victim Services Center is a place where people affected by interpersonal violence can come and receive assistance. Through one door, our specialized multi-disciplinary team provides wrap around services to stabilize and support victims of violence and their families. These services can include forensic examinations, law enforcement reporting, crisis counseling and safety planning and more.

The Ada County Victim Services Center is a vital community resource for those experiencing domestic abuse and violence, child abuse, sexual assault, stalking, elder abuse or human trafficking. The Center was founded in 2006 by the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ada County Commissioners. Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts has been instrumental in its creation and continued success.

With continued support from the Ada County Board of Commissioners and several private and public partners, the Ada County Victim Services Center continues to serve the community.

Vision: The Ada County Victim Services Center is a safe place where victims and their families are treated with dignity and respect and where they receive comprehensive, compassionate, and healing services.

Mission: Partners collaborating to provide medical and mental health care, legal and financial advocacy, and justice for crime victims and their families.

ABOUT F3 NATION - https://f3nation.com/

F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 is now in 48 states, on 5 continents, with more than 4,205 scheduled workouts a week through the volunteer efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with the group.

The three Fs in our name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith — the last of which we define as not one specific religion or faith system, but simply a belief in something outside oneself.

Our workouts …
Are free of charge
Are open to all men
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
End with a Circle of Trust
We welcome men of all fitness levels to our workouts and have no requirement for membership other than that you show up at the appointed time and place and follow what the workout leader (the “Q” in F3 lingo) does.

The F3 Credo is: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him.
