Description
Join us for our 5K hosted by VFW Post 7980 in Millstadt, IL! This family-friendly race winds through the country and honors the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. All proceeds from the event will go toward restoring the M47 Patton tank memorial located in front of our VFW post.
Whether you're racing to set a personal record or walking in support, your participation helps preserve a symbol of service and sacrifice for future generations.
Enjoy a professionally-timed course (by E4 Timing), a commemorative long-sleeve T-shirt, and a fun community atmosphere. (T-Shirt not guaranteed for registrations after Nov. 4, but a limited number will be available at registration)
Overall 5K Awards: Top 3 male and female overall will receive trophies. Top male and female veteran will receive trophies. Top male and female wheelchair will receive a trophy. All participants registered by November 5 will receive a medal.
Age Group 5K Awards: Trophies will also be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group: 14 & Under, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60 & Above

Friday 11/21 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm (join us in the VFW basement for our weekly Fish Fry)
