Help raise money to support the Purple Iris Foundation (PIF)! Cancer is prevalent in Maine - we all know someone who has had cancer affect their lives.
PIF supports low-income Mainers who are undergoing treatment for cancer. Founded by Christina Parrish, a 17-year stage 4 pancreatic cancer survivor, Chris wanted to give back and founded PIF as a way to provide hope and support, not by duplicating efforts already in existence, but by filling the gaps in services and support. As a small nonprofit, PIF can be nimble and flexible with the goal of providing help with groceries/access to food, transportation expenses for treatment, and emergency basic needs such as utilities.
