Book It! Friends of the Waterford Library 5K Run

Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Book It! 5K and Fun Run/Walk in support of the Waterford Township Public Library.  This family friendly event welcomes kids and pets. The 5K will feature timing with results posted online at (LINK).

5K Run starts at 10:00 AM 

5K Walk starts at 10:15 AM

 Fun Run/Walk start at 10:15 AM   

Entry fee includes a commemorative event t-shirt, finisher medal, a chance to win gifts from our sponsors and complimentary children's book for students. Price discounts available for the following:

• Ages 18 and under - $5.
• Groups of 5 or more: $5 discount for each member of the group. 

 NOTE: Register by Sunday, April 19, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt and children's book as noted above.

Onsite registration closes at 9:00 am May 2, 2026.

Packet pick-up will start at 9:00 am on race morning.  Check in will be at The Warming House, 5050 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329. On the Civic Center Campus by the pond.   

Event also includes an online Silent Auction {LINK}of items donated by sponsors.
