Red Friday Run presented by G.E.H.A

The Kansas City Chiefs and Arrowhead Events are hosting the 6thannual Red Friday Run, presented by G.E.H.A. This year's race is virtual beginning on September 5th, 2025 and will coincide with the "Red Friday" celebration for the home opener vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. Early bird registration begins on Friday August 1st, 2025.

As part of the race registration, participants will receive this year's Red Wednesday's flag with proceeds benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

With no official racecourse for this event, Chiefs fans throughout the country and all over the world can participate virtually with the option to complete the 5K however they choose, including running or walking in their neighborhood, in a local park, on a nature trail or from their treadmill.

While Friday September 5th serves as the official day of the Red Friday 5K, the virtual race will be open on Friday August 1st and will conclude on Sunday September 7th. Once participants complete the 5K, they're encouraged to take a photo in their Kansas City Chiefs or Red Friday Run presented by G.E.H.A gear with their Red Friday flag and post on social media using #RedFriday between Friday, September 5th, 2025 through Sunday, September 7th, 2025.

The 2025 Red Friday Run presented by G.E.H.A marks the 17th team-sponsored 5K run/walk for the Chiefs and Arrowhead Events and is designed to give all Chiefs fans the opportunity to connect with the team, even virtually. Whether you run or walk, finish with the fastest time, or just run for fun, the Red Friday 5K is designed for everyone to enjoy.
