• Location: 6121 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127 - Newton Rd entrance
• Parking: Free parking is available throughout the park
• Bathrooms: Restrooms are available at the start/finish line and on the course

About the Organization:

Red Barn Nature's Way Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing animal and nature-based programming for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our offerings include both private and group sessions, encompassing activities such as painting, sensory exploration, social skills development, prewriting, literacy enhancement, and self-expression through crafts. Each program is designed to foster physical, emotional, and cognitive development while promoting stress reduction, enhancing cooperation and communication, and boosting self-confidence. Through our nature-centered approach, we aim to create enriching experiences that nurture growth and well-being for all participants.

About the Event:

Join us for the first RBNWF Ridge Run. No matter if you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to enjoy the fall season, this event is for YOU! Come embrace the crisp autumn air with the whole family. 

Event Highlights:

• 5K Run/Walk through a scenic fall landscape
  • This is a 3.2 miles run/walk for individuals
  • Start Time 9:00 a.m.
• 1K Fun Run/Walk for children of all abilities
  • This is a fun child friendly .62 mile run/walk for children of all ages and abilities to promote health, wellness, and inclusion.
  • Start time: 8:30 a.m.
• Family-friendly fun for all ages
• Post-Race Refreshments including water, sodas, and juice
• After Race Fun:
  • Lunch & Field Days
    • We will provide games for a fun, family-friendly field day with lawn games such as KanJam, cornhole, and more. 

Registration Fees: 

• Early Bird Rates (Before 9/13):
  • $15 - children participating in the 1K without a t-shirt
  • $20 - children participating in the 1K with a t-shirt
  • $20 - for adults without a t-shirt
  • $30 - for adults with a t-shirt
• General Admission Rate (9/13 and After):
  • $20 - children participating in the 1K without a t-shirt
  • $25 - adults without a t-shirt

*Shirts will also be available in limited quantities for purchase at the event for $20 for youth sizes and $25 for adult sizes*
