Description
2026 marks the 51st Annual for the Oakwood 5k, 10k and Family Fun Run. All those registering by May 1 will receive a technical shirt with their entry.
There is a virtual 5k option for those who can't make the actual race at Oakwood High School on May 16. The FREE family fun run is 1k and starts at 8:30am. Fun Runners have the option of purchasing a shirt with their registration for $12. The 5k, 10k and virtual options include a technical shirt with your entry if registered by May 1, 2026. The 5k and 10k will start at 9am on Dellwood.
Race day check-in will be outside the Mack Hummon Stadium behind Oakwood High School starting at 7:30am on May 16, 2026.
All those registered for the virtual event will be invited to submit results for compilation and will be posted on the Speedy Feet website. We will also invite you to send us some of your race day pictures to post to our website. For those running In-Person, we will have your results and pictures posted to our website for you.
There are no processing fees for online entry this year!
All finishers will receive a custom That Day in May finisher's medal.
Awards for the 5k and 10k will be presented as follows:

Course Map - Oakwood 5k/10k
The 5k course is a flat and fast loop section in Oakwood. The 10k is the same loop, just run twice.
Course Map - Oakwood 1k Fun Run
The 1k Fun Run uses the same start and finish as the 5k and 10k on Dellwood. Fun runners will turn North on Shafor, follow Shafor to Dixon where they will turn around and head back to finish on Dellwood.
